It is mentioned in the books of the Hanafi School of the permissibility to supplicate after Fajr and the loud prayers, if a major difficulty or disaster befalls the Muslims.
It is sunnah to make the qunut after the Ruku, according to the most strongest opinion in the Hanafi School.
One should then place one’s hands like in (Qiyam) standing and Qunut of Witr according to the opinion of Imam Abu Hanifa and Imam Abu Yusuf. And if one leaves one’s hand aside, it is also permissible according to Imam Muhammad, so one should not object on others. There is possibility of permissibility understood from the Hadith about raising one’s hands from the beginning of Qunut until the end. One should also not object on others who raise their hands.
Translation of Dua al Qunut:
Allah, guide me among those You guide. Grant me health and pardon among those You grant health and pardon, look after e among those You look after, grant me grace in what have given me, and protect me from the evil of what you have ordained; for You decree and none decrees against You, and none is abased whom You befriend. And none is exalted whom You are at enmity with. O our Lord, who is above all things sacred and exalted, all praise is Yours for what you decree. I ask Your forgiveness and turn to You in repentance.
The Imam will pluralize he singular suffixes so that, for example, ihdini (guide me) becomes ihdinaa (guide us) and so forth.
